HISTORY & CLASSICS

Bring history to life with a visit the American naval base in Pearl Harbour – the attack on which launched the US into WWII. Students will gain a deeper understanding of this major event with a tour to see he USS Arizona Memorial, the USS Oklahoma Memorial, the USS Utah Memorial, and parts of Ford Island and Battleship Row.

GEOGRAPHY & SCIENCE

• Hula dance lesson: Hula is the Hawaiian art of movement, dance, and storytelling. Hula began as a form of sacred devotion and became a key part of religious and cultural expression.
• Lei-Making Class: Using special lei needles, learn the art of stringing flowers together to make a beautiful lei.
