New Caledonia is a French overseas territory and combines the laid-back lifestyle of the South Pacific with the sophistication of the French culture. The capital, Noumea, offers a rich past to delight the history buffs, alongside Colonial houses, Melanesian sculptures, museums, a botanical garden and Zoo.  The countryside offers gorgeous beaches, dazzling lagoons and underwater wonderlands.

Language and Culture

Here is your ideal opportunity to learn French which is New Caledonia’s official language, with experienced language teachers who regularly receive groups of English speaking students. CREIPAC is a public institution dedicated to the teaching of French language in the Pacific region. The school is situated in charming old historical buildings by the sea, set amid frangipanis and palm trees where students of all ages are taught French in a relaxed island atmosphere. A large range of classes which are tailored to the needs of the students is offered and conducted by fully qualified native French-speaking teachers.
